THE WITCHERY WHITE SHIRT CAMPAIGN
In 2024, the 16th White Shirt Campaign will launch across Australia and New Zealand on Tuesday 16 April. The campaign will culminate on Wednesday 8 May, which is Witchery White Shirt Day and World Ovarian Cancer Day.
Specially-designed Witchery white shirts will be on sale online and in stores, with 100% of gross proceeds from every white shirt sale donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
2024 will also mark an impressive 24-year long partnership between Witchery and the OCRF. This special partnership has since been recognised through the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s Inspiring Collaborations category, as winner of this category. This award highlights how instrumental the White Shirt Campaign has been in ovarian cancer research projects across Australia, raising over $16 million in funding, and counting.
GET INVOLVED THIS WHITE SHIRT CAMPAIGN - HOST YOUR OWN EVENT
The campaign's success hinges on its ability to raise the profile of ovarian cancer research across the nation, by leaning on high profile ambassadors, medical researchers, ovarian cancer patients and survivors to use their collective voice.
Ovarian cancer research funding remains disproportionately low compared to funding for many other cancers with much higher survival rates. The White Shirt Campaign helps bring ovarian cancer into the national conversation and highlights the need for greater funding to improve treatments and ultimately save lives.
Help us spread the word. We want you to add your voice this White Shirt Campaign – host your own White Shirt fundraising event within your community.
Whether it's organising a morning tea with your friends, bake sale with your sporting team, to a presentation and Q&A at your workplace, there are many ways to raise vital funds and awareness!
